This week in Makerspace, we're working on creating our own video games with a Bloxels board and app! Students have been teaming up to design characters and levels, and I'm excited to see what our finished product will look like. Even if you've never coded before, come try it out and see what you think!
Meet Eliza Printington, the new pride and joy of the Plum Point Middle Media Center! Our students have wasted no time teaching themselves how to do 3D design on Tinkercad, so we're already taking requests! Friday lunch shifts to work on designing and coding will be coming soon, in addition to the already-scheduled Makerspace shifts.
In honor of the Academy Awards, I'm featuring books that have been turned into movies. I'm of the opinion that the book is (almost) always better than its film adaptation, but I'll see what you think!
